Bandung Day 3

this was the day when we got a little more adventurous compared to the first two days we had. yeah i look pale in the morning. as though as i'm very sick or what. hahaha.

after our awesome breakfast (yes our breakfast was always as awesome as they can be),

we headed to the mountainsssss. gunung tangkuban parahu, to be precise.

on the way up, it was getting colder.

lya wind down our windows and we breathed fresh and cool air. beautiful. and as you breathe, heaven... the air is so much cleaner than the air in melaka here. and the higher we went, the fog got thicker. there was once where we had to stop by and wait for a little while. really cant see whats ahead of us.

17 to 19 degrees celcius.

and it was really cold. my fingers were cold. thank god ming ceh reminded me to use my maryjanes. or not, i cant walk already. hahaha.

we finally reached there. and there we were,

enjoying ourselves. the fog was really thick. bad timing according to lya because we can't see the craters down below from where we were.

there's this legend about this mountain though where is sangkuriang, a demi-god, fell in love with a pretty lady, who is actually his mother, dayang sumbi, a god. immortal and forever young. in order to fail his effort to marry her, dayang sumbi asked her son to make a boat in one night. when he failed to build his boat, he became angry and kicked his boat. thus, his boat turned upside down and there it was, gunung tangkuban parahu. a mountain shaped like a boat.

the story of the legend was all written on the building behind there. no words but pictures.

we spent a lot of time there. enjoying the breeze and the cold air. but it was weird of how lya can take the cold air. she was wearing shorts. hahaha.

then we went down the mountain a little bit to go to the craters, kawah domas. we had to walk there. it was about 40 mins walk like that.

it was around in the afternoon when we started to walk. on the way, we joked around, run, jump, you name it. hahaha.

we also came to closer to nature when we touch the flowers, plants around there.

the pure water from the mountain up above, baby!! yeah it was still cold. brrr. hahaha.

random plant but pretty.

imagine, it was in the afternoon when i took this.

the leaves have morning dew on!! if i'm not mistaken, it was around 2 plus.

we came to this 2 hills almost merged into 1.

this is where many couples come and have their photoshoot. lovely place. where it is like a bridge meeting the two hills.

right at the back of me there lies the craters. the smell of sulphur was real strong. but the breeze was still there. windy as can be. cold.

boom baby!! there lies the natural hot springs! pick your favourite. hahaha.

there were plenty of visitors from many different places and countries. even though the hot springs were around, it was still cold.

and the craters have pretty sights to see. good for photos. :)

so ming ceh tried on the springs to test which is not too hot nor too cold for our feet. didn't bring clothes so can't dip ourselves in or use the sulfur mud as a mask for our face or skin. but nevertheless, we enjoyed just by putting our legs in.

tried to sit like ah sow in coffee shops. hahahaha.

i didnt had a bad hair day. it was just the wind blowing them around.

then when we looked at the sky, realizing that it was going to pour at any moment, we headed back to the parking lot. again, 40 mins of walk. brisk walking. we did stop to catch our breath though.

jackets off! hahaha. i was sweating in cold temperature. cold sweat. and when we were at the parking lot, we talked and there were mist!!

oh, entrance fee is paid for at the car entrance earlier. entering this hot springs and going to the top of the mountain is included in the fee we paid at the car entrance.

then we went back to the foot of the mountain. lya drove through the tea plantations to show us. and the colour of the greens were so alive!! loved it.

we went to de ranch.

it was like afamosa. but much more nicer than afamosa. you get to play games and it was like you were living there like a cowgirl or cowboy. and they played country music everywhere.

the best thing ever was that i rode on a horse around the farm, baby!!!!!!!! it was 20k rp. worth it. i enjoyed myself. and the horses there werent stinky at all.

at first, i was afraid that my pants will smell because of it because i only brought 2 pairs of pants! so quite worried. but when i went near it, no smell.

so we were brought around the farm. met cows. plants. trees. games. horse dung!! hahaha.

i enjoyed a lot because it was my first time sitting a horse in my life. i know my life damn sad. please dont laugh ar. hahahaha.

after we sat the horse, we walked around and had fun. we had our own photoshoot. hahaha.

and we almost played the flying fox but didn't. too short. tak sedap. it was almost 5 too. so not many people were there. and we just syiok sendiri la. hahaha.

this bike was used to play a game but i just sat there to syiok sendiri. :D

asian eyes!! ting ting ting!

huge barbeque.

and the worst thing everrrrr that happened was that my battery was blinking already. and there goes untaken scenes for the night. x.x not only mine but lya's was also blinking!! urgh.

we went for sundanese dinner with lya's family. deliciously awesome!! hahahaa. i loved it alot. and chloe was there. cute.

after dinner, we went to cloud 9!!! the best cafe ever that i've stepped into. it was situated in the valley. from the exterior appearance, it looked like small little hut with nothing. but when we went downstairs, omg. everybody was chilling and all. eating pizza. listening to music. LOOKING AT THE STARS!!! looking at the scenery of bandung at night. beautiful.

bandung-ians are very lucky!!
