Bandung Day 6.

the last day to relax the brain and the first day of class, which i guiltily skipped.

had a different dish for breakfast. something that i've never tried before throughout my stay there.

porridge!! yea you heard me. porridge. i know my teddy will be thinking, 'but she don't like porridge wor.' hahaha. just trying something for fun ok? bubur kampung if i'm not mistaken. delicious though.

we shared some dishes together. ming ceh was eating gado-gado. i ate a spoonful of it. :D

i took this. looks pretty and delicious externally eh? but when i bite it, omg. total regrets! hard like stone. adui.

packed our final stuffs and we checked out. i think we only had 4 hours of sleep? late night talks with ming ceh can really make you die. laughed a lot. hahahaha. slept around 3 something and woke up around 7 plus ok? hahahaha. totally worth it.

went to buy snacks for loved ones back home in malaysia. so sweet of lya's parents who provided great hospitality for us!

brownies world!!

went to the international airport. bandung is such a busy place in the daytime. plenty of cars. yet the air is cleaner than malaysia.

the best thing that happened in the airport was that our luggages, 3 persons combined, were overweight!! omg. lya had to unpack her bags there and then to transfer to her hand carry bags. we were so hectic. we didn't bother of whats happening around us. but of course, we hold onto our passports etc tightly la. waited for 1 hour plus if im not mistaken.

and we were up in the air! to infinity and beyonddd!

waved goodbye to bandung. i know i sound crazy. hahaha. but i really did. :D

while up in the air, i tried my best to sleep with the sound of the airplane flying. a/c full blast. the advertisements by the air steward and air stewardess. safety precautions while in the aircraft. what do you want to eat?

i cant. at all. all i did was just closing my eyes. surprisingly, these two can sleep. i salute.

went to the toilet and stayed up for the whole 1 hour plus till the aircraft touched malaysian soil. there, i was home, phone buzzed a lot. no late night calls anymore.

but i would love to travel again. i just need to have more $$$! who would sponsor me? :D

Bandung Day 5!

be prepared to salivate. have a tissue or two with you now please. :)
it was 7 in the morning when i woke up.

gotta rush for church service at 8.30am. so i had to force myself to get my ass out from the beautiful comfy bed and out to the beyond-amazing bathroom for morning shower.

headed downstairs and had my delicious 5-star breakfast. i ate all i could.

chinese.

malaysian.

and hong kong dim sum.

everything was in big portion. so i only managed to eat 3 plates of them. i can't take it anymore or else i'll explode. so i stopped. and i had to sign a form to certify that i was a guest here eating the breakfast. fee, which was approx rm70, will be included in the hotel fee during check out.

if you're so hungry, you'll be very contented with the food served here. so i asked the staff there if i can take pictures in here or not since the guards didn't allow me to take any in the lobby. she said they're fine here. so i started. quickly to chase time.

from the one end.
these are from my country. nasi goreng. meehoon goreng. porridge.

dim sum. the size of one piece of dim sum is bigger than the ones in bukit beruang here. and of course, much much more delicious. just one bite, you're feeling like you're in heaven. hahaha.

all sorts of raw meat. bacon etc. full variety.

i think if my teddy bear was there with me, he wouldn't know where to start his course.

all sorts of cheese i think? or fermented? which i don't consume at all. those who are close with me knows it and yet i fell for their trick sometimes especially during birthdays. i'm sucha clever girl.

korean food. kimchi and all.

indonesian. gado gado if im not mistaken. raw vegetables mixed with peanut sauce.

chinese!! you can identify by the colour of bowls they used to represent the originality of country. just pick whatever you want from these bowls and put it in your bowl. pass it to the chef there and bam. u watch how's your food done for you.

moving on. decoratives! i find them pretty attractive.

this is dewi sri, the god of rice.

the gods. (can't remember these gods' functions)

however, the food doesn't stop there. there is the dessert section over on the other side of the cafeteria!! eating never ends here with delicious food!

all types of milk. they look the same to me.

varieties of bread. pick which one you want. total haven for those who loves food.

and if you'd prefer toasted bread or sandwich bread for breakfast, these are the types of spreads available for you to fill your bread.

fyi, this is a real cheese bread. hahahaha. im not kidding.

went to church. this is jakarta in early in the morning. less cars. too early. and it was bulan puasa period. so lesser cars.

service finished around 11 i think? went back to hotel and took a last glance but this time, with lya's grandma. and still was amazed by the room. :D took whatever that we can take from the room like toiletries. wanted to take the whole room back but cant. hahahaha. we checked out.

went to bank rakyat indonesia building for lunch with lya's great grandma, grandma and aunt. it was on the 9th floor. upon entering the restaurant, we saw fishes originated from the sea water.

probably you can pick any of which you favor then ask them to cook for you.

lunch is served. ta-daa! but we didn't have any of them.

but instead, we had the awesome possum lunch!!!! dim sum, babyyyyy.

with good presentation PLUS delicious, big sized dim sum. what's not to love about? i can live there!! hahaha. my life would be legendary. ok i know. i've watched too much himym. *smilingwithgigiberwayar*

chicken feet. used to fancy them when i was a cute, little girl but not now. nahh.

when you're done with your dim sum lunch, a waitress with a cart will come to you asking you to pick a dessert you fancy. so we picked!!

this is tapeh. its soft and it fills your mouth. sweet. fibrous.

this is advocado pudding. it's, of course, cold. delicious. perfectly made to suit everyone's taste buds.

this is thai ice. it's like cendol here but its just that there are no green cendol in it. just green and red coloured jellies. sago. sweeeeet like sugar. i like!

we left there. it was raining cats and dogs. according to lya, it is normal to have rain like that.

we went to grand indonesia. another shopping centre.

checked out topshop and forever 21. paul and bear. hush puppies. many shops la. mng. etc.

the decorative behind was just promoting the cake shop, bakery and dried flowers. pretty though. they have cupcakes!!

these are the forever21 dresses which i didn't buy. they were on the special shelf. discounted alot. but i didnt buy! mom will slit my throat even though it was only RM80 plus after conversion!

after walking around, there was this lego expo on the ground floor.

got bored so we went to red mango for dessert.

then there's this supervisor, i think, came to us and told us to tweet about red mango and you can get a free cup. the people here are friendly.

visited the

toilet. it's super clean!!!

saw this real orchid in the supermarket. real one!

the road sign states means you cant stop. not there's no superman. hahahaha.

after shopping for our needs for junks for 2 hours drive back to bandung, we left.

had our dinner at the 1100 menu food court in bandung again. i ate mee tarik!! it was so far, the best noodle i've ever had in my entire life. hahahaha. i know. exaggeration. hahahaha.

checked in to the hotel again. smaller room. but who cares. packed our bags. and had a good night rest.

i remembered that night that i kept singing to ming ceh, you are not alone.... i'm here with you. hahahaha. probably too excited to go back to malaysia.
